My trip to Minnesota
Eyes almost got kicked out of a titty bar.
He apparently fucked a black stripper up the ass the week before and claims "he understands them."
He also stuck up for a bunch of Southerners at a Polish bar when my buddy was insulted by the bartender; I had to buy Eyes drinks the rest of the evening because was afraid there would be no alcohol in said drink due to his chivalry. "Your job is not hard," he told the bartender, "it's not like your shoveling rock."
The Eyes needed free gin, I needed a nap after an afternoon drunk..we went to his furniture-less apt.
My art opening went awesome.

Jon Stewart Producing History Channel Special
posted by: Matt Tobey
Jon Stewart has done such a good job making the present interesting, The History Channel has tapped him to give the past the same treatment with an upcoming special on the history of naturalization in the United States. Hopefully someone will get him to do something about the future next. I'll bet his President George W. Bushdroid XVII impression is hilarious.
Stewart's show, The Naturalized, is among the highlights of History's most substantial programming investment ever. The network's robust slate of specials and series, to be announced May 14 at History's upfront presentation, ranges from a sweeping 12-part series about the creation of America, to a critical examination of holiday traditions (and the anxiety they engender) by comedian Lewis Black.
The projects are among 16 new series and 13 new specials greenlit or in development for the 2009-2010 season.
The Naturalized, to be produced by Busboy, Stewart's company, follows eight individuals through the bureaucratic morass of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. The special will also include interviews with undocumented and deported illegal immigrants.

Toilet snake attack: urban legend comes true?
Mon May 11, 2009 4:56pm EDT
TAIPEI (Reuters) - A Taiwanese man became a sitting target for a snake, which bit his penis as sat on the toilet at his rural home, local media reported on Monday.
"As soon as he sat down, he suddenly felt a knife-like pain and reacted instinctively by standing up," the China Times said. "When he looked down, he saw the big snake."
The 51-year-old man, from Nantou County, was under medical care with minor injuries, a director at Puli Christian Hospital said.
"As soon as he has passed the risk of infection, he can go," the director, who declined to be named, said. "A snake's mouth isn't always clean."
Local television images showed the black and yellow reptile, reportedly a species of rat snake, being uncoiled and plucked slowly from the toilet bowl.
Snakes regularly enter rural homes in Taiwan and other sub-tropical regions of Asia.

Whoops, Wrong House

[via IMDB]
"Actor Dolph Lundgren's wife was tied up by armed robbers who demanded cash and jewellery in a terrifying raid.
The Rocky IV star away from his Marbella, Spain home at the time of the burglary, but wife Anette found herself at the mercy of three masked attackers.
They terrorised her into handing over money and valuables.
But the three robbers fled when they spotted a family photo - and realised they had targetted the home of the tough guy actor.
A source tells Britain's Daily Mail, "Things might have turned out very differently if Dolph had been in. The criminals fled as soon as they realised the owner of the house they had raided was someone they wouldn't want to come up against in a fight. They left Anette pretty traumatised. She's Dolph's angel and anyone who messes with her is messing with him."
Police are still hunting the three attackers."

Also, here's a new pic of Universal Soldiers: The Next Generation, directed by John Hyams, the son of Peter Hyams the director of TimeCop, Sudden Death and End of Days and now the cinematographer for Next Gen. It's also known as Universal Soldier III, which is funny since there already was a Universal Soldier 3 in 1998 which co-starred Burt Reynolds, who also starred in Universal Soldier 2: Brothers In Arms with Gary Busey.

Sorry, but this is long
The only "news" abut this is that it is "news"
WASHINGTON — A newly declassified narrative of the Bush administration's advice to the CIA on harsh interrogations shows that the small group of Justice Department lawyers who wrote memos authorizing controversial interrogation techniques were operating not on their own but with direction from top administration officials, including then-Vice President Dick Cheney and National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice.
At the same time, the narrative suggests that then-Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld and then-Secretary of State Colin Powell were largely left out of the decision-making process.
The narrative, posted Wednesday on the Senate Intelligence Committee's Web site and released by its former chairman, Sen. Jay Rockefeller , D- W.Va. , came as Attorney General Eric Holder told reporters that he'd "follow the evidence wherever it takes us" in deciding whether to prosecute any Bush administration officials who authorized harsh techniques that are widely considered torture.
In a statement accompanying the narrative's release, Rockefeller said the task of declassifying interrogation and detention opinions "is not complete" and urged prompt declassification of other opinions from 2006 and 2007 that he said would show how Bush Justice Department officials interpreted laws governing torture and war crimes.
These developments come days after the Obama administration declassified four Justice Department memos from 2002 and 2005 that revealed in detail authorized interrogation methods, such as waterboarding, which simulates drowning, sleep deprivation and putting detainees in containers with insects.
The drafting of the narrative began last summer, at the prompting of Rockefeller. The Senate Intelligence Committee staff drafted the document, with heavy input from the Bush administration, in a multi-department effort largely coordinated through the Director of National Intelligence's office.
Bush's National Security Council , however, refused to declassify it.
Obama's National Security Adviser, James L. Jones , signed off on its release last week and the Senate panel cleared it Tuesday.
Among other details, the narrative shows that:
— The CIA thought al Qaida operative Abu Zubaydah was withholding information about an imminent threat as of April 2002 , but didn't get authorization to use various interrogation techniques on him until more than three months later.
— Key Senate Intelligence Committee members were briefed on the techniques used on Zubaydah and Khalid Sheik Mohammed in 2002 and 2003.
— The Director of Central Intelligence in the spring of 2003 sought a reaffirmation of the legality of the interrogation methods. Cheney, Rice, then-Attorney General John Ashcroft and White House counsel Alberto Gonzales were among those at a meeting where it was decided that the policies would continue. Rumsfeld and Powell weren't.
— The CIA briefed the Rumsfeld and Powell on interrogation techniques in September 2003 .
— Administration officials had ongoing concerns about the legality of waterboarding as they continued to justify its legitimacy.
Cheney couldn't be reached for comment. Rice, through an aide, declined to comment.
As the narrative was released, various civil liberties and liberal activist organizations said they planned to present Holder on Thursday with 250,000 petition signatures calling for the appointment of an independent prosecutor to lead a criminal investigation into alleged torture.
Meanwhile, Republican Sens. John McCain of Arizona and Lindsey Graham of South Carolina , and independent Sen. Joseph Lieberman of Connecticut wrote to Obama urging him not to prosecute Bush officials who offered legal advice about CIA interrogations.
While the senators deemed some of the legal analyses "deeply flawed," they said that criminalizing bad legal opinions "would have a deeply chilling effect on the ability of lawyers in any administration to provide their client — the U.S. government — with their best legal advice."
Sen. Patrick Leahy , D- Vt ., the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee , on Wednesday reiterated his call for an independent "truth commission" to examine the interrogations, and said that if Republicans wouldn't go along with the bipartisan commission, he'd seek an investigation through the Senate .

South Park Duo Land Saddam Hussein Keepsake
12 April 2009 7:00 AM, PDT
South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker still can't believe a signed photo of Saddam Hussein U.S. Marines sent them is for real - but they hope it is.
Legend has it the troops screened the duo's 1999 film South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut before the former Iraqi dictator was executed in 2006.
In the film, an animated Hussein is depicted as Satan's gay lover.
Stone says, "We're very proud of our signed Saddam picture and what it means... I have it on pretty good information from the Marines on detail in Iraq that they showed Saddam the movie over and over again, which is a pretty funny thought."

Dear Tribe-
I am so happy I had the chance to reunite. I will forever be your lady dude.
I kinda miss sleeping in Sammy's room and not having a toilet. I really do love my boys,
and am so happy that you all are in my life.
I love you all unconditionally, except The Eyes....therein lies some conditions.
PS Miguel----can we set up a time to talk on the phone?

watch their clothes just fade away on this blog. Oh those Germans!
A love of shaving going on, but I like how they seem to keep their shoes/boots on.

Thai 'Spider-Man' to the rescue
An unusual disguise has helped a Bangkok fireman rescue an eight-year-old boy who had climbed on to a third-floor window ledge, Thai police say.
The firefighter dressed up as the comic book superhero Spider-Man in order to coax the boy, who is autistic, from his dangerous perch.
Police said teachers had alerted the fire station after the boy began crying and climbed out of a classroom window.
It was reportedly his first day at the special needs school.
Efforts by the teachers to convince the pupil back inside had failed.
But a remark by his mother about his passion for comic superheroes prompted fireman Somchai Yoosabai to rush back to the station, where he kept a Spider-Man costume in his locker.
The sight of Mr Yoosabai dressed as Spider-Man and holding a glass of juice for him, brought a big smile to the boy's face, and he promptly threw himself into the arms of his "superhero", police said.
Mr Yoosabai normally uses the costume to liven up fire drills in schools.

Is it true? Could Marky Mark do another good movie?
Sony Pictures Activates The B Team
Source: Variety
February 26, 2009
Sony Pictures Entertainment has acquired B Team, an Adam McKay-directed action comedy that will team Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg as cops, with Chris Henchy and McKay writing the script.
The movie will be a co-production between Gary Sanchez Productions and Mosaic. Sony has not set a release date on the film, but it is expected to go into production as quickly as the filmmakers can get it ready, reports Variety.
The comedy was pitched around town on Tuesday by Endeavor and CAA, and Sony co-president Matt Tolmach moved quickly. The trade says that Tolmach was comfortable committing to a film without a finished script, because Columbia worked in exactly the same fashion on "Talladega Nights" and Step Brothers, both of which were set up with a pitch and the collaborative track record of McKay and Ferrell.
Sony intends to register the title The B Team, a challenge considering that 20th Century Fox is mobilizing a movie based on the TV series "The A Team," with Joe Carnahan directing.
